Driving Directions from Highway 17:
Note: Approximately 1 Hour from Los Gatos and Santa Cruz

Directions coming from Los Gatos

Go south on Highway 17 towards Santa Cruz

1. Take the Summit Road exit
Make a hard right (at the yield sign) and take the overpass (go east)
Make a left (at the stop sign) onto Summit Road
Summit Road changes to Highland Way just after San Jose-Soquel Road

2. Veer left (up) onto Mt. Bache Road (at the stop sign)
This is approximately six miles from Highway 17
This is the only stop sign on Summit Road/Highland Way
Mt. Bache turns into Loma Prieta Way. Stay right and continue up hill.
Stay on Loma Prieta Way for approximately 2 miles (stay on the paved road until the road surface changes to oil and screen, and eventually to dirt).
Continue on dirt road until you reach the “Y” in the road.

3. Make a left (go up) at the “Y” and go through the green gate.
This is Loma Prieta Road – which is a rough and rocky road
Go up hill until you see the TV/TELEPHONE TOWERS.
The road reaches a plateau and a fork intersection.
Make a hard right – you will see the blue/gray Loma Chiquita Gate.
The road becomes paved right after the gate.
This is a private gate you must have a key or authorization to go ahead through the gate (should the gate be locked, call me and I will come get you).

4. Go through the blue/gray gate marked Loma Chiquita Road
Our home is approximately 1.8 miles from the gate
The pavement will end about 1 mile down the road and turn to dirt.
House numbers are not in order.
You will pass a red firehouse on your right.

5. The driveway is two properties further down on your left.
The house number (33200 Loma Chiquita Road) is on the utility pole.
Go through the green cyclone gate and take a right at the “Y” or park as signs indicate.

6. Enjoy the adventure.
